“Gin.” I pant out his name but he doesn’t listen to my desperate plea. He only continues his torture. Trialing down to my core where I want him to go. My hips rise off the small bed but he pins me down.
“Don’t make me get out the cuffs babe.” I can hear the humor in his voice but in the back of my mind I know he means it. Know that he would love nothing more than to strap me down and have his way with me. The thought of it gets me even hotter. Before I can move again though, his mouth seals over my sex and I cry out from the contact.
Pleasure zings through my body as he flicks that bundle of nerves until I’m falling. Falling so far that I don’t think I’m ever going to stop. “Don’t fall asleep on me now. You started this. I’m damn sure going to see that you finish it.” My eyes fly open at his declaration. I watch as he strips off his clothes, being sure to place his cut on the side table.
When he drops his jeans, I prop myself up on my arms to look him over as he pulls down his boxer briefs. His dick springs free, weeping at the tip just begging for attention. “On your knees babe.”

“What?” I hiss but he still doesn’t speak. He only moves.
Moves closer to me. He is on me in an instant, his mouth on mine, his hand sliding along my leg toward the juncture on my thighs. The other palming the back of my head to hold it in place. “What?” I whisper, cut off again when his hand reaches its destination and palms my mound. His tongue invades my mouth, dueling with my own for dominance. The moan that slips from me is swallowed up, each one that leaves my mouth as his hand makes its movements, stroking along my covered center.
He hits right along my clit, the fire igniting inside me and I explode. I can’t move much due to the seat-belt and Gin pinning me to the bench seat but it doesn’t matter because my body goes lax as he lets up on his mouth and hands.
“All mine babe.” He says along my swollen lips giving me one last peck before he slides back over behind the wheel and drives out of the parking lot.

Statistically, I was more likely to die in a car crash. I knew because I’d researched it when I decided to take my first flight. In fact, I was more likely to die of food poisoning than the plane crashing. Just my luck, it would be the food on the plane that killed me. The same research told me take-off and landing were the most dangerous and likely times for a crash to happen. And it was that little nugget of information that had my stomach churning like it was on the high-speed setting of my Magimix. Had me grasping the boarding pass between my shaky fingers, holding onto it like a life preserver, the ink smudging from my sweaty palms.

Our entwined hands rested against his thigh and his thumb traced across my wrist.
“I fly a lot. And I’m no stranger to high-risk situations.”
Well, that was…intriguing. “Really? Are you a paratrooper or something?” I licked my lips and he looked away from me. The muscle in his cheek twitched like he was stopping himself from confessing some deep, dark secret.
He glanced out of the window and said, “Or something.”
Huh. Vague much? But then he had every right to be. If we weren’t in this situation, we would probably have spent the duration of the flight ignoring each other. Polite chitchat as we manoeuvred around sharing the same cramped space for so long. I was saved from trying to come up with a reply by the crackle of the announcement system.

“I can’t believe I’m doing this.” I mumble. Within about fifteen seconds The Watering Hole app is on my phone and I’m opening it to see what happens. Will there be a list of guys I can just choose from? “I bet they’ll all be mega nerds who boast what big dicks they have.” I snort. “‘Cause you know, they speak Spockly and carry big dicks.”

I have been familiar with Marie Force for a while.  Romantic suspense is a fave of mine but I have to be in the mood for it.  I decided to take a chance on this series after being reassured that I didn’t have to read the first ten (yes, 10!) books.
I have to say that I was not disappointed! Ms. Force brought together all the elements that I look for in a series.  Powerful characters, spine tingling mystery and an actual story that grips you from beginning to end.
Nick and Sam are two characters that you can’t help but find yourself entangled with and I want more!

The woman walking straight toward him

Blue eyes narrowed. “Aha. So you did
get my emails.”
Those. The voicemails. The letters.
“Sure,” he said with a nod, shoving
his hands in his pockets. “Just like I suspect you got the message that I

Charlie looked from the woman to Luke
and back again. “Show?”
Ryan ambled over, his shit-eating
grin telling Luke that this damn woman had already spilled the beans on why she

Jordan Carpenter didn’t look at her
companion, but all three firefighters did.
