Tania Sparks is a romantic at heart who genuinely believes in true love and soul mates. She met her husband while still at school, she was sixteen, he was seventeen. I enjoyed this sizzling tale, but I was somewhat deterred by grammatical errors in the beginning. I’m not perfect, but in a book this loaded with steamy goodness, you have to know the difference between “drill” and “grill”. For, a man can “grill” you in front of just about anyone, but will only “drill” you in front of a preferred few, if any at all. It’s a minor nuisance that seems to drift away towards the middle of the book, however.

The sex scenes are wild and my kind of raunchy, while the characters fall into place with ease. I didn’t love the heroine, but I didn’t hate her, either. The whole loner bit grated my nerves a little, but I just passed it off as the ignorance of youth. The hero is written perfectly, and there’s somewhat of a mystery involved. Club life has a Hollywood spin at times, but it’s good.

The sex is great, the story wraps up nicely, and there’s a sneak peek for the new series at the end.

I see this as more of an erotic romance more than contemporary romance.
